Yamada Denki’s Kids Program Lets You Exchange Points For A Nintendo Switch

Yamada Denki, one of the largest retailers in Japan, has introduced a “Yamada Kids Card” that allows children to earn points and exchange these points for various rewards.

The rewards that have caught the attention of Japanese customers is none other than the Nintendo Switch, which could be redeemed for 30,000 points. A Nintendo Switch Lite could be redeemed for 20,000 points, while popular games such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Pokemon Sword/Shield are available for 5500 points:

However, it should also be noted that Yamada Kids Card members earn 1 point for every 1000 yen (USD10) spent at Yamada Denki, so they will have to spend about USD300,000 to redeem a Nintendo Switch.
