Earlier, we reported that the RPG Yggdra Union: We’ll Never Fight Alone would be making its way to Switch in Japan. If you’ve been excited to hear more, we finally have a new peek at the upcoming port!
Publisher Sting has released the debut trailer of the game, which confirms the game’s 5 March 2020 release date in Japan. Of course we also get a glimpse of its visuals and gameplay on Switch – which gives the GBA original a small touch-up.
Check it out below:
A listing on the Japanese eShop also teases a new ‘cheats’ function that can mix up the game in some ways. Specifically, these cheats will activate when players enter specific commands in from the in-game manual (from the ‘-‘ button):
- A cheat that lets Milanor fight as a hunter like Cruz
- A cheat that disables enemy and ally critical hits
- A cheat that maxes out your army’s Skill Gauge at the start of battle
- A cheat that reverses the formation types of men and women
For now, there don’t seem to be plans for a western release – and this release will only support Japanese. We’ll report back as we hear more.
