Nintendo has released a statement acknowledging a game-breaking bug in Yoshi And The Mysterious Book.
The details of this bug were shared on social media by Nintendo of Japan. After progressing to Chapter 4 of the main story, players will unlock the “Index” feature of the encyclopedia Mr. E. However, if they skip his explanation of this feature, they can potentially get stuck in the Index menu if they do the following:
Nintendo is aware of the bug and will be addressing it in the next patch for the game. Players who are affected will be able to progress the game normally after the patch is applied.
In the meantime, it may be a good idea for players to listen to all of the tutorial explanations provided by Mr. E before progressing through the game, just to ensure they do not encounter any similar issues.
