During the Super Mario Party segment of Nintendo Treehouse Live, Nintendo confirmed a new mode that lets players play online in Super Mario Party.
Players compete against their friends or strangers in five different mini games for the best score. There will be a ranking system, leaderboards, and rewards put in place for this new online mode.
