Here’s a very important heads up for those of you picking up a copy of Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee this Friday.
Although we are now living in an era where we can freely change the language of most Nintendo Switch games we like at any point of time, this freedom does not apply to Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
The moment you start up the game for the first time, you’ll be asked to choose a language. A warning states that the language cannot be changed again once you begin playing.
This is similar to how Game Freak handled languages in the mainline Pokemon games on Nintendo 3DS – you can choose any language before you play, but you cannot change it later on.
