Yesterday, The Pokemon Company revealed tons of new information for Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
One piece of information announced was how players could transfer Alolan form Pokemon from Pokemon GO into Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee. The way it was phrased made some presume Alolan form Pokemon had to be transferred from Pokemon GO and couldn’t be encountered in the wild in Let’s GO.
Today we have received news that Alolan form Pokemon are obtainable through in-game trades with “visitors from the Alola region”, so if you don’t play Pokemon GO there’s nothing to worry about.
