Tomorrow, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will finally be available to fans living in Taiwan. And for the first time, it’ll be playable in Chinese.
How excited are Chinese Nintendo fans exactly, though? Youtube stats show the Taiwanese Breath of the Wild trailer uploaded last week has been watched 1.7 million times, and the Hong Kong trailer has been watched close to 600,000 times. Both videos have become the most watched videos on Nintendo’s official Chinese Youtube channel.
This is a pretty huge development given that other videos on the Nintendo Chinese channel hover between 50,000 to 300,000 views. Let’s hope Nintendo has a fantastic launch with Breath of the Wild in those countries!
