GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring has shared new details on how each video game console has sold in the United Kingdom.
As of December 11, 2018, lifetime Nintendo Switch hardware sales stand at 1.4 million in the UK, as compared to PS4’s 6 million and Xbox One’s 5 million. This is a good figure as Nintendo consoles don’t usually do well in the UK, and the Switch is only in its first year.
We also have to consider the fact that the Switch had sold 700,000 consoles in February 2018, so in the span of 11 months, it has doubled its lifetime sales. This comes after we shared with you Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s impressive debut in the UK.
