200 Returning Pokemon To Appear In Sword And Shield Expansions

During today’s Pokemon Direct, Game Freak announced an interesting detail about the number of Pokemon coming from the Pokemon Sword and Shield expansions.

The company confirmed that over 200 Pokemon from past entries not found in the base games will appear in these expansions. These include Pokemon such as Garchomp, Volcarona, Nidoking, and Talonflame. Not all of these Pokemon were datamined, so they are brand new.

Adding the over 200 Pokemon from the expansions, Pokemon Sword and Shield are set to have over 600 Pokemon.
