3DS Section Removed From Famitsu’s Weekly Release Dates Calendar

Today we have an interesting piece of news to share with you about the Nintendo 3DS’ continued decline in support from Nintendo and others.

In the most recent issue of Weekly Famitsu, readers have noticed that the magazine has removed the 3DS section from its usual release date calendar. This is most likely due to the 3DS having almost no games scheduled for release in Japan, as well as the cancellation of Mobile Ball of the console.

The removal of the 3DS section from Famitsu’s release calendar joins a growing pile of evidence that the 3DS is well on its way out, despite Nintendo’s claims to the contrary. It seems its only a matter of time before Nintendo officially retires the 3DS from the console market, especially with growing rumors of a proper replacement on the way.
