Good news for those of you getting Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics – Nintendo is introducing a concept similar to Download Play.
The Nintendo UK Store has mentioned that Nintendo will release a free version of Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics on the Nintendo eShop, allowing players who don’t own the game to enjoy local multiplayer with one person who owns the full version of the game.
This is a similar concept to Download Play, where one person who owns a copy of the game on a Nintendo 3DS or DS could play with other players who don’t own it.
Full details below:
“Local multiplayer*: Free software will be available that allows players to connect in local multiplayer with someone who owns the full version of the game. As long as your friends have a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite and one person owns the game, everyone else can play too!
Free supplementary software will be available that allows players to connect in local multiplayer with someone who owns the full version of the game. Additional accessories, games and/or systems may be required for multiplayer mode, sold separately.”
