An absurdly priced Nintendo Switch 2 bundle containing 8 extra accessories has went viral on the internet.
The bundle contains a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World set along with 8 official accessories for 113,980 yen (USD793) such as Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and microSD Express card. Despite the requirement to purchase 8 additional accessories, along with the fact that the price of the bundle is around 15,000 yen to 20,000 yen higher than buying all items separately, the bundle has sold out at the time of writing, which has baffled many users.
Some Japanese users commented that the fact that people are willing to shell out close to USD800 for an overpriced bundle goes to show the high demand for Nintendo’s upcoming system. Some thought that the price was reasonable, considering that accessories like the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and microSD Express Card have been bought up by scalpers.
It’s also worth nothing that the seller of this bundle has guaranteed that the bundle will be delivered by launch day.
