This week, the Captivation’s Radiance: Gold Exhibition opened its doors at Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. East, coinciding with the public opening of Pokemon Center Tokyo DX and Pokemon Cafe.
Among the many golden objects on display is a life size Pikachu statue made from 24 karat gold (aka 100% gold). The glimmering statue stands 50cm tall.
While the life size golden Pikachu statue is unfortunately not for sale, its smaller counterpart will set you back 1500 bucks.
The exhibition closes March 19, 2018.
