The Pokemon Company is temporarily shutting down all their Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations in Japan from April 8, 2020.
The temporary closure comes after the Japanese authorities announced a state of emergency to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Once the situation improves, the stores will reopen, though there is no timeline for that at this time.
