All-Star Fruit Racing developers have confirmed that the Switch version of the game will not get online multiplayer on day one, unlike the Xbox or PlayStation version. In fact, it may never get online multiplayer on the Switch unless the game does well.
Answering a question on Facebook, All-Star Fruit Racing developers said that will start developing the multiplayer section should the game be well received.
When All-Star Fruit Racing will be released it will be possible to play on local Split Screen with up to 4 players so you can still play with your family and friends! We would like to implement Multiplayer mode but this, honestly, is up to the players: If the game will be well received we will do it happily. ?? Share the word and invite your friends to buy All-Star Fruit Racing so we can start developing the Multiplayer section!
So if you’re getting the game on the Nintendo Switch, fingers crossed that it does well.
