All You Need To Know About Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SINGAPORE

The first pop-up store offering Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO merchandise, Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SINGAPORE, will be open from November 17, 2023 to January 1, 2024 at Jewel Changi Airport.

In this article, we share all the important details about the store’s location, product lineup, pricing, quantity restrictions, future restocks, and more.

1. Location and operating hours

Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SINGAPORE will be open daily from 10am to 10pm from November 17, 2023 to January 1, 2024. It is located on the 4th floor of Jewel Changi Airport, diagonally opposite Pokemon Center Singapore.

2. How to enter the store

In order to enter the store, you will need a numbered entry ticket. Numbered entry tickets are distributed for free on a daily basis. Depending on the situation, the store may decide to distribute entry tickets ahead of opening hours.

You can only enter the store at the time designated on the ticket (for example, if the time designated on the ticket is 10am – 10:30am, you can only enter during that period of time).

There may be an additional line opened for walk-in visitors without a ticket depending on crowd levels, but access is not guaranteed.

3. Product lineup

The store offers products such as:

A. Exclusive merchandise from Nintendo TOKYO
B. Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, and Pikmin 3 merchandise from Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO
C. Licensed merchandise such as plushies from Sanei Boeki
D. Nintendo Switch hardware, software, and accessories

We have found that prices for Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO merchandise at the Singapore pop-up have a 50% – 80% markup over prices in Japan. For example, the Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO exclusive Mario statue goes for SGD106 in Singapore and 7,150 yen (about SGD64 according to exchange rates on November 16, 2023) in Japan. Prices are inclusive of 8% sales tax in Singapore and 10% consumption tax in Japan.

There is a maximum 5 per item quantity limit. This means a single customer is allowed to purchase up to 5 of the same item.

6. New products and future restocks

In the first half of December 2023, the product range will be updated at the store. This means there may be new products introduced and/or restocks for popular items.

7. Promotions

Visitors who check in at the Nintendo Check-In station by scanning a QR code on their Nintendo Account will receive a free sticker featuring a random Nintendo character. This can only be done once a day and no purcahse is necessary.

Customers who spend at least SGD85 in one transaction will receive a random postcard featuring scenery from various Singapore locations. There are a total of six designs to collect, with designs changing every week.
