IGN France has reported an interesting news that could possibly point to a strained relationship between Amazon France and Nintendo.
According to IGN France’s report, Amazon France has ceased selling the Nintendo Switch on their website. The ones that you see being sold on Amazon France are offered by third party sellers.
Speaking to anonymous sources, it appears that Nintendo was the company that decided to stop supplying Amazon France with Nintendo Switch consoles, and for good reason – Amazon France was selling the Switch at EUR270, undercutting the EUR299,99 to EUR329,99 price point offered by other retailers.
Press relations representatives at both Nintendo and Amazon France have refused to comment on the matter.
