Famitsu has published the latest Japanese sales figures for April 20 to April 26, 2020.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the No. 1 bestseller of the week with 283,913 copies sold, bringing lifetime sales to 3.895 million copies. It has already beaten Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to become the bestselling Nintendo Switch software in Japan of all time. Famitsu expects Animal Crossing: New Horizons to be the first Switch title to sell over 4 million copies in the next 2 weeks.
Trials of Mana debuted in Japan last week, with the PS4 version coming in second place on the charts at 80,383 copies, and the Nintendo Switch version in third at 70,114 copies.
