Animal Crossing: New Horizons, one of the best reviewed games of the year, is still being review bombed by many users on Metacritic a month after its launch.
Although the game was given a Metascore of 91 by 105 critics, it currently has a 5.2 out of 10 user score from 4195 user reviews. Out of the 4195 user reviews, 2000 are positive, 211 are mixed, and 1984 are negative.
Most of the people who gave negative reviews for the game have gripes with the fact that only players could have only one island on a single Nintendo Switch. These unsatisfied people gave the game a score of 0. It’s unclear whether Metacritic will take action against the people who review bombed the game, similar to what they done for Astral Chain.
