Reddit user and artist ayeh24 shared a redesign of the New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe boxart as he didn’t like the official boxart.
ayeh24’s take on the boxart has several notable differences. Instead of Peachette we have Toadette on the box, and Nabbit has been replaced by Yellow Toad. The positioning of enemies have been slightly changed as well. Most prominently, the yellow checkered background has been replaced by orange clouds:
Even the back of the box wasn’t spared and ayeh24 playfully included words such as these:
“No new content! Two incredible Mario games with the added benefit of absolutely nothing!”
