A while ago, we reported that fans realized that the physical edition of Wolfenstein: Youngblood on Nintendo Switch would not be coming with a game card but just a download code!
Bethesda themselves had not commented on this until now with the official Spanish Twitter account responding to a fan asking about this.
Check it out below:
The tweet roughly translates to:
Hi guys! We have updated our FAQ with the information, and indeed the physical edition of Switch will come without a cartridge and will require a download.
It is quite disappointing that despite all the backlash Bethesda are still deciding to not include a game card with the physical release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood on Nintendo Switch.
If we have any more information to share we will cover it here at NintendoSoup so stay tuned for more!
