EmuParadise, a website that offers ROMs of retro consoles such as the NES and SNES for free, has announced it’s changing the way it is doing things.
From now on, EmuParadise will no longer host ROMs on its website. EmuParadise is considered one of the largest and longest running (18 years) ROM websites on the Internet.
EmuParadise said this was an “emotional decision” but it’s the “right thing to do”. Although they did not spell it out, EmuParadise probably fears they will be the next target of Nintendo’s lawyers.
Of course, not everyone is happy, with many commentators hurling profanities at Nintendo, and some promising to “hack the Switch”.
