Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Surpasses Two Million Copies Sold; First look At Two New Modes Shared

It looks like indie Metroidvania adventure Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has hit a new milestone!

Publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay revealed that the game has sold over 2 million copies, as of August 2023. Along with the release of special artwork (seen above) to celebrate this achievement, the companies also shared a video update about the new “VS” and “Chaos” modes being developed for the game – which will introduce online multiplayer into the game for the first time.

More information about the “VS” and “Chaos” mode updates will be shared on 14 September 2023. We’ll report back as we hear more in the future.
