Bowsette Has Already Been Modded Into New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

The internet’s favorite gender-bender meme has finally come full circle.

One modder has already injected the fan-character Bowsette into New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, as a replacement skin for Toadette. Check out the mod in action below, courtesy of ContraNetwork:

While it’s not a perfect mod, it’s certainly ironic to see the gender-bent Koopa King running around in the game that accidentally inspired her existence. After all, the whole Bowsette saga only conspired because Nintendo introduced the Super Crown as a power-up that transforms Toadette into a peach-lookalike.
