Earlier this year, Capcom revealed Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection for Switch and other platforms. One of the primary concerns at the time was whether physical copies of the game would require any additional digital downloads – which plagued previous Mega Man and Resident Evil Collections on Switch. Well, we finally have some fantastic news for Switch collectors all over the world today.
Capcom has officially confirmed via Twitter that all six Mega Man Zero and ZX games will be on the cartridge/disc – along with various extra features. Players will not need to perform any extra downloads to enjoy the content of the game.
Fans are now breathing a sigh of relief, with some commending the company for finally getting its act together for physical editions of their games. Others finally felt more confident in purchasing the collection.
Hopefully Capcom will stick to this path for more game collections on the Switch moving forward. We’ll report back if we hear further news about the game in the future.
If you still haven’t booked your copy of the game, you can pre-order it over here (ships worldwide).
