Japanese newspaper Nikkei recently conducted an interview with Capcom President Haruhiro Tsujimoto.
Nikkei asked Tsujimoto what titles are Capcom currently developing for the Nintendo Switch. Here’s what Tsujimoto said (translated by NintendoSoup):
The Nintendo Switch’s special trait of being a home console that connects to the TV at home and one which you can take out on the go has performed better than expected. I believe beat up games where multiple people can easily play together outside (such as Street Fighter) will be popular.
We’re currently thinking of bringing games that have never appeared on Nintendo platforms in the past to the Switch.
And if you’re wondering what kind of games Capcom has never brought to Nintendo platforms in the past, possible titles include Devil May Cry, Dead Rising, and God of War. We’re certainly living in exciting times.
