You can now get a clear look at Pokémon’s origins – before it officially became a beloved franchise.

The folks at Helix Chamber have uploaded high quality scans of ‘Capsules Monsters’ – a prototype proposal for Pokémon in 1990. You can definitely see some of the draft designs that made it over to the actual games later on, and others that were changed.
