Although the Nintendo Switch was released in Hong Kong and Taiwan (available through black market imports in mainland China) last year, Nintendo has never localized the Home Menu even though they’ve been localizing all major first party releases in Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
Today, a group of modders have released a patch that allows Nintendo Switch owners to use their Home Menu in Chinese. Keep in mind this is an unofficial translation and patch, and homebrew is required in order to install it.
Let’s hope Nintendo will localize the home menu for those who understand Chinese and Korean soon.
