CIA: Osama Bin Laden Pirated Nintendo DS Games

When Osama Bin Laden’s compound was raided by US forces in 2011, the CIA retrieved a hard drive that contained nearly 470,000 files.

This month, the CIA has went public with the list of files that are on that hard drive. Among the material are documents, images, videos, and even pirated game ROMs which include New Super Mario Bros. and nintendogs for Nintendo DS.

Apparently Osama (or at least people close to him) not only pirated Nintendo DS games, but also a bunch of PC games, movies, and even anime.

It’s peculiar to see he was interested in Nintendo games, even though they were obtained illegally.
