Way back in 1989, Nintendo and Universal Studios teamed up to make The Wizard, a movie chock full of Nintendo product placement that went on to become a cult classic video game film alongside the Super Mario Bros Movie.
Today, 30 years after The Wizard‘s release, director Todd Holland has revealed a special treat for all of its fans. Due to the fanbase “screaming” for Universal to “show the film some respect”, they will be releasing The Wizard on Blu-Ray sometime in February next year.
