Nintendo has released an updated timeline for their Legend Of Zelda series.
This updated timeline is up on Nintendo’s website, and has added The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. According to the new timeline, Echoes Of Wisdom takes place in the “Hero Is Defeated” worldline, occurring after Triforce Heroes but before the original Legend Of Zelda game.
As seen in the screenshot above, Breath Of The Wild and Tears Of The Kingdom are placed separately, a status which was shared earlier this year. It seems that Nintendo intends to continue updating this timeline with every new Zelda game released, hopefully serving as a guiding post for the extensive debates that sometimes go in in the fandom.
