Comparing The Remastered Link’s Awakening To The Original

Over 20 years have passed but a lot has stayed the same.

The Leaderboard has released a video focusing on the differences between the Original version of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening to the remake which released just this month. The comparison shows just how much care put into recreating this Zelda classic.

The game faithfully designed the game to capture the tone and mechanics of the original from the visuals to the sounds even though the tools they have at their disposal are vastly superior to the ones developers had in 1993.

Link’s Awakening had two buttons it could map items to! So there was a lot of room for improvement.

What change did you enjoy seeing in the remake? Let us know below.
