It looks like publisher Compile Heart might be cooking up something very steamy behind the scenes.
The company recently launched a new teaser website with a highly suggestive countdown sequence. In particular, the page seems to be featuring extreme close-ups of characters from Moero Chronicle, which originally launched for PS Vita. The dungeon RPG was infamous for its touchscreen mechanics, which allowed players to simulate physical contact with various monster girls.
Currently, there have only been two images – featuring characters Ranju and Leche respectively.
When visitors click an icon at the top-right corner, however – these images will become even more suggestive.
The specific appearance of these two girls heavily suggest that the original game is getting a modern port of some kind.
A set of Japanese characters appearing on the bottom-left of the site even seem to be hinting at the release platform. While it only spelled ‘ス‘ (Su) yesterday, the snippet now spells ‘スイ‘ (Sui) today. This is only two characters away from spelling out ‘スイッチ‘ (Suicchi, or Switch)!
These are certainly some exciting times for Compile Heart fans. We’ll be waiting to report back if the title is really heading to Nintendo Switch.
UPDATE: the website has refreshed today with a new image of Lilia, and the Japanese characters now spell out ‘スイッチ’ (Suicchi, or Switch) in full! Check out the screenshot below.
