Corocoro: New Details On Mewtwo Distribution, More Info On Pokemon Sword & Shield To Come

Images from this month’s issue of Corocoro have leaked online. The scans contain more details about the special Mewtwo being distributed for the upcoming Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, as well as a promise of more information on Pokemon Sword & Shield in the future.

Previously, we reported that tickets for Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution in Japan will come with special code for Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee. The newly surfaced scans further reveal that this Mewtwo will not only have a CP of 10,000, but also be Level 70 with a Quiet nature.

As for the recently announced Pokemon Sword and Shield, the scans unfortunately had little new information to offer. Images of the game’s three starter Pokemon were featured, with a short note asking readers to “Wait for the follow-up from CoroCoro”. Presumably, this means that Corocoro’s coverage of the new games should begin with next month’s issue, although nothing is set in stone.

What do you think? What new information about Pokemon Sword & Shield would you like to see featured? Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE: Further details have been confirmed about the Mewtwo distribution for Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee. In addition to what is stated above, it will also be fully trained with max AVs in each stat. Furthermore, it will come with the moves Psychic, Shadow Ball, Barrier & Calm Mind. The code can be obtained from April 12th to July 11th, and can be redeemed any time before September 30th.
