Rocket League’s Crates and Keys system, which can be found on other versions of the game, will be on Nintendo Switch, the official Rocket League Twitter account has confirmed.
The Crates and Keys are essentially microtransactions in Rocket League that let players unlock items. Keys can be purchased to unlock Crates, which offer special item drops such as “exclusive bodies, decals, goal explosions, rocket boosts, and wheels”.
Keys can also be traded with other players in exchange for other items.
