Cult Of The Lamb “Relics Of The Old Faith” Free Content Update Announced For Early 2023

Massive Monsters has announced some free content updates coming to Cult Of The Lamb this year.

The first of these updates is called “Relics Of The Old Faith”, and is planned to release in Early 2023. It will add a number of new features to the game, including additional combat options, quality of life, endgame content, and more. A short summary of what is known about this update so far can be found below via Perfectly-Nintendo:

• New Enemies
• The Lamb has new moves! Press and hold the attack button to unleash a Heavy Attack. Each weapon type has its own Heavy Attack.
  
  • This Sword smash is great if you’re being swarmed!
  • The Dagger rains pain from above. The Lamb spawns multiple daggers that fall in line, giving the shortest weapon a reliable ranged option.
  • The Lamb throws the axe like a boomerang that deals damage in both directions. The Axe will return to your location so you can pull off some fancy geometry!

The second update has yet to be named, and is planned to launch in 2023. This update has a focus on “cult depth”, story elements, and customization. The announcement Tweet and roadmap can be found below:
