Dragalia Lost, a smartphone RPG developed by Cygames and published by Nintendo, was released in the US and parts of Asia in late September.
Machi Asobi, director of Draglia Lost, has shared a few new details about the game’s development. Asobi revealed that orchestra tracks were going to be used in Dragalia Lost, but they were later removed.
Asobi said Nintendo was heavily involved in the game’s development. Nintendo suggested the removal of the MVP red chest in multiplayer, Granblue Fantasy players/enthusiasts at Nintendo gave a lot of feedback to the team, and they even co-wrote the story.
As for what’s going to happen in the future, more characters from Granblue Fantasy and Rage of Bahamut will be added to Dragalia Lost, and the team hopes to make an anime out of it.
It also seems Cygames is putting a lot of pressure on the Dragalia Lost development team, as they hope to make the game the face of Cygames.
