Daemon X Machina Sells 28,000 Copies At Launch In Japan

Famitsu has published the Japanese video game sales rankings for September 9 to September 15, 2019.

Last week, PS4 titles conquered the top 3 bestseller spots in Japan. Daemon X Machina, the only new major Nintendo Switch release last week, debuted at No. 4 with 28,149 copies sold at retail.

Nintendo Switch hardware sales clocked in at 51,619 systems last week, a drop off from the 75,000 systems in the prior week. Lifetime Nintendo Switch sales are now at 8,971,941 systems in Japan, closing in on 9 million very soon.
