Earlier this month, we reported Nintendo Live 2019 was at risk of being cancelled due to a powerful typhoon approaching Japan.
Since then, Nintendo has posted an update on the status of the event. It has been confirmed that in light of the typhoon’s approach, the start time of the event’s first day will be delayed by two hours from 9AM JST to 11AM JST. However, day 2 of the event will proceed as per normal.
That said, Nintendo has also stated that the event may still be cancelled should the typhoon’s course take a turn for the worse. We will be sure to share more updates on the situation closer to the event’s start date of October 13th.
