It looks like fans of Inti Creates (the developers behind Azure Striker Gunvolt and Blaster Master Zero) can expect some exciting news later this year!
The studio’s CEO Takuya Aizu has revealed on Twitter that three titles are currently in development, although he did not confirm any platforms. Originally, the folks at Inti Creates intended to announce these titles at local and overseas shows – but the recent coronavirus outbreak has halted those plans for now.
In lieu of this, Aizu made an offhand remark about possibly revealing these new titles in a Direct-style broadcast instead (translation courtesy of Gematsu):
“In light of current events, I think it was a reasonable decision to cancel and postpone the various shows in Japan and abroad, including BitSummit, which would have been held the day after our founding date (May 8)…However, now I’m thinking every night to morning about how we’re going to announce our three titles currently in development.
Should we announce it ‘directly’ via YouTube?”
We’ll report back when we hear more about Inti Creates’ future plans. Stay tuned!
