Digital Foundry Analyzes Bloodstained’s Visuals, And Major Issues With The Switch Version

In the past week, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night finally made it’s debut on all current-gen consoles. While the game is a glorious throwback to classic Castlevania games, not all has been well on the Switch version of the game.

Of course, Digital Foundry took the game to their analysis machine, in order to examine the severe issues hampering the port. In particular, we get comparisons between the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One version of the game – and the differences are night and day.

Check out their expert thoughts below.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is perhaps the greatest crowd-funded game to make it to release – on PS4 and Xbox One (particularly on the enhanced consoles), it’s simply brilliant. However, all versions have their issues, culminating in some big problems for the Switch version. A patch is promised, so let’s hope the major issues can be resolved.
