In an interview with Final Fantasy XIV producer Naoki Yoshida, the producer gave an update on what’s going on with their progress to bring Final Fantasy XIV to Nintendo Switch.
Yoshida reaffirmed Square Enix wants to let as many people play the game as possible, and is currently in talks with Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft.
Agenda of the talks are to see whether they could let the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions have cross-platform play with the PS4 and PC versions – something which may be unlikely with how Sony has behaved in the past.
