Dokapon Kingdom: Connect Officially Announced For Switch

Following the leaked rating in Germany, publisher Compile Heart and developer Sting have officially announced Dokapon Kingdom: Connect for Switch.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via ryokutya), the game is a remake of the Dokapon Kingdom party game that launched back in 2007/2008 for PS2 and Wii, itself a remake of the 1994 Super Famicom game Dokapon 3・2・1 – Arashi o Yobu Yuujou. It is planned to launch on April 13th 2023 for Japan, and is confirmed to feature online multiplayer support.

Presumably, since the game was rated in Germany, it is also planned to get a worldwide release outside of Japan. Stay tuned for more details as they come.
