After months of speculation, Nintendo has confirmed that Donkey Kong Bananza was developed by the same team responsible for Super Mario Odyssey.

For many months, fans have been speculating that Donkey Kong Bananza was created by the same EPD team that made Super Mario Odyssey since its UI looked very similar to that game and there were other similarities in their gameplay mechanics.

Finally, this speculation has been put to rest, but some lingering questions remain – who are the people producing and directing the game, and who’s responsible for the music? Nintendo did not answer these questions, so we’ll have to wait and see.
