Donkey Kong Country Developers Share Tributes For The Game’s 25th Anniversary

Yesterday, gamers across the globe celebrated the 25th anniversary of Donkey Kong Country – a classic SNES game that revitalized the DK franchise. As it turns out, it looks like its creators haven’t forgotten either!

Steve and Gregg Mayles, whom originally worked on Donkey Kong Country, have offered some artwork and interesting tidbits to commemorate the game’s birthday. While they haven’t touched many Nintendo properties for many years now, it’s still nice to see that they remember DK fondly.

How about you? Do you have any fond memories of Donkey Kong Country? Feel free to share your stories with us below!
