DOOM Eternal Launches On Switch Same Day As Other Consoles, Frame Rate Revealed

In a recent Eurogamer interview, DOOM Eternal executive producer Marty Stratton answered questions on the Switch version of the game.

Stratton confirmed to Eurogamer that DOOM Eternal will be released at the same time as other versions on Nintendo Switch. He also confirmed that Panic Button is working on porting the game to Nintendo Switch.

Similar to DOOM for Nintendo Switch, DOOM Eternal will run at 30 frames per second, rather than 60 frames per second on other platforms. Stratton says there will be “no sacrifice” to the gameplay experience.
