During their Doom 26th Anniversary Livestream, Bethesda announced some free updates heading for Doom I and Doom II on Nintendo Switch.
The updates will include a number of fixes for the games’ aspect ratio and framerates, as well as the addition of several expansions and community mods.
Check out a quick rundown below:
- Aspect ratio tweaks and 60fps for Doom I and Doom II
- Final Doom, No Rest For The Living, and Sigil will be added
- Community Wads (AKA Mods) will be added
- All updates will be free on Xbox, Playstation, and Switch
Unfortunately, it seems that Bethesda has yet to announce a timeline for when these updates will be rolled out. We will be sure to bring more details as they come.
