Today we have a very interesting piece of news for Nintendo Switch owners living in South America.
In various parts of South America such as Brazil, Nintendo opened a website allowing players to purchase download codes and redeem them on their South American Nintendo eShop. This method, unfortunately, has some drawbacks, such as having no way to earn Gold Points on the My Nintendo rewards program for purchasing games.
Fortunately, we have learned that download codes purchased in South America could be redeemed on the US and Canadian Nintendo eShop. This means you get to earn Gold Points off your downloads and have everything consolidated on a single American/Canadian Nintendo Account.
