EB Games Opening First Nintendo “Store Within A Store” Experience In Canada

EB Games has announced they are opening the first Nintendo “store-within-a-store” experience in Canada.

What this entails is a Nintendo themed corner set up in EB Games’ flagship outlet on 267 Yonge Street in Toronto. The permanent, 1,500-square-foot space will be available to the public from  Saturday October 17th 2026, featuring “Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and software, playable games at demo systems, Nintendo-themed displays, merchandise and photo opportunities”. There will also be My Mario merch available, some of which will be exclusive to EB Games Canada.

Regarding the store, EB Games and Nintendo Canada had this to say:

Stéphan Tétrault, Owner and CEO of EB Games Canada: “There’s something special about gathering around the games we love, and we believe physical retail has an important role to play in creating those moments. The Nintendo space at EB Games is exactly the kind of retail experience we want to bring to our customers – immersive, exciting and designed to bring people closer to their favourite characters and franchises.”

Susan Pennefather, Vice President and General Manager of Nintendo of Canada: “We’re always looking for new ways for people to experience Nintendo games and worlds, the Nintendo space at EB Games is an incredible place to explore what’s new, discover merchandise and celebrate our iconic characters. We’re proud to bring this concept to North America for the first time, right here in Toronto. We can’t wait to welcome people inside.”
