The Pokemon Company will be holding a special collaboration in New York to celebrate Pokemon Day 2024.
On February 27th 2024, the Empire State Building will be lit up in Pokemon blue and yellow between sunset and 2am EST. This is to celebrate Pokemon Day 2024 as well as the English premier of the Pokemon Horizons anime series. There will also be Timed Research in Pokemon GO for nearby players, allowing them to obtain a Party Hat Pikachu, along with themed Pokestops and Lure Modules with a higher chance of attracting Unown.
